STIRLING BLACKET

Stirling is officially the most relaxed member of Unqualified. He has a wide selection of electric guitar pedals and broad knowledge of surfing the NSW coast. He also has considerable experience in the design and construction of residential projects, educational and community facilities, master planning and project management. Notable collaborations have included working with the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation to develop community facilities and housing for Indigenous Elders in the Pilbara, Western Australia, and working with residents of Jeays Street Red Cross Community Centre in Brisbane city to improve outdoor gathering spaces.

Focusing on the creative process, Stirling encourages active community engagement through workshops, skill-shares, and collaboration, using repurposed and recycled materials as a priority, and exploring the interplay between the material, social, and spatial aspects of design. He was last seen sleeping in a ute in the Northern Territory.
